Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to discuss the strength of muscle explosions and muscle strength on the ability to destroy in the extracurricular men's volleyball game at SMA Negeri 3 Tapung-Kampar. This type of research is an experiment. The population and sample in this research were male extracurricular students in SMA Negeri 3 Tapung-Kampar who supported 14 people. The research instruments used were leg muscle explosive power tests with vertical jumps, arm muscle strength tests by throwing medicine balls and volleyball smash ability tests. The data analysis technique used is the conversion value test. Based on the results of research that has been done can conclude 1) Required leg muscle explosive power to the ability of the men's volleyball extracurricular smash in SMA Negeri 3 Tapung-Kampar with a calculated value = 0.615> rtable = 0, 532 and also an estimated value of 37.82% , 2) Contributing muscle strength to the extracurricular men's volleyball smash ability in SMA Negeri 3 Tapung-Kampar with a calculated value = 0.602> rtable = 0, 532 and also a benefit value of 36.24%, 3) requires the support of muscle explosive power limbs and arm muscle strength against smashes in the extracurricular men's volleyball game at SMA Negeri 3 Tapung-Kampar with a calculated value = 0.652> rtable = 0, 532 and a benefit value of 42.51%.
