Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine whether through playing methods can
improve learning crossover dribbling game basketball. With research subjects 19 students.
This research is a classroom action research (CAR). Samples from this study were 19 people,
10 sons and 9 daughters. Based on the elaboration of the data that the researchers had done
in class XI MIA 3 MAN 1 Pekanbaru, from a total sample of 19 students, it was concluded
that in this study as many as 14 students completed with a percentage of 73% and the number
of incomplete were 5 students with a percentage 27%. Based on the results of the analysis of
the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the application of playing methods
in the learning process can improve the ability of students to do the crossover dribbling ball
game for students in class XI MIA 3 MAN 1 Pekanbaru.
