Abstract :
Research with the title "Utilization of Cow's Blood and Legin to Increase Growth and Production of Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.)". Supervised by Prof. Dr. Hasan Basri Jumin., M.Sc as supervisor I and Mrs. Raisa Bahruddin, SP., M.Sc as mentor II. The study was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University. Conducted for 4 months from March to June 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interaction and the main influence of cow blood and legin on the growth and production of peanuts. The design used is a complete factorial randomized design consisting of two factors. The first factor is cow blood with concentrations of 0, 15%, 30% and 45% while the second factor is legin with doses of 0, 5, 10 and 15 g / kg of seed. The parameters observed were relative growth rate, net assimilation rate, flowering age, number of effective root nodules, efficient use of rhizobium, number of pods per plant, harvest index, dry pod production per plant and weight of 100 seeds. The observations were statistically analyzed and continued with a real difference test of 5%. The results showed that the interaction of bovine and legin blood had a significant effect on the net assimilation rate, flowering age, number of effective root nodules, efficient use of rhizobium, number of pods per plant , dry pod production per plant and weight of 100 seeds, where the best treatment is 15% cow's blood and 5 g / kg of legin seed. The main effect of real cow's blood is on the relative growth rate at 21-28 HST, the number of effective root nodules, number of pods per plant, harvest index, production of dry pods per plant and weight of 100 seeds, the best treatment is 15% cow's blood. The main effect of legin is real on the net assimilation rate at 28-35 days after planting, age of flowering and number of effective root nodules, the best treatment is legin 5 g / kg of seed.
