Abstract :
This research aims to develop and produce valid and practical mathematics learning tools on opportunity material. Learning tools developed in the form of lesson plans (RPP), student worksheets (LKPD) with Discovery learning (DL). Development of learning tools in research using the development method of R&D modification so that it becomes several stages namely: (1) potential and problems; (2) data collection; (3) product design; (4) design validation; (5) design revisions; (6) product trials; (7) large-scale trials; (8) product revision; and (9) final product.This product trial was conducted in class VIII of SMPN 6 Kandis with a total of 29 students. The instruments of this study were RPP validation sheets, LKPD validation sheet, teacher response sheets, and student response sheets. The results of the study through the validation sheet obtained by an average value reached 78,5% for the RPP with validity criteria quite valid and 77,8% for LKPD with validity criteria quite valid. Furthermore, the result obtained practicality quetionnaire responses from participants of 92,36% with a very practical categories, the results of the quetionnaire respon teacher practicality of 94,28% with a very practival categories, and the practicality result of the implementation of learning by 84,2% to the category of practical. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that this development research produced a mathematics learning tool with the Discovery Learning model on the opportunity material in class VIII of SMPN 6 Kandis,which was tested for its validity and practicality.
