Abstract :
The decline in oil production can be caused by several factors, one of which is the small capacity of the pump used to produce wells that are still productive, this can also be due to the fluid characteristics of paraffin, the characteristics of this fluid can cause the SRP pump not to work optimally, so a more efficient pump replacement is needed, namely the ESP pump (electric submersible pump) which has a large production capacity and can work optimally to increase the amount of oil production on the fluid characteristics of paraffin, because the motor of the ESP pump can generate heat which serves to reduce viscosity fluid so that the fluid to be produced will increase. In pump replacement activities, it is necessary to discuss economic issues by calculating the amount of oil production and operating costs using the Gross Split contract. From the results of the analysis and economic calculations that have been carried out, it can be seen that the SRP to ESP pump replacement project using a gross split contract has economic value. By analyzing the value of economic indicators such as NPV, IRR, and POT with a gross split contract of 525,85 M US$, 714,35%, and 0.81 years, and the government gets a share of 1236,34 M US$, the contractor asks for a share of amounting to 612,71 M US$ and the deductable expansion fee paid by the contractor was 267,71 M US$. From the calculation of the sensitivity of NPV, IRR, and POT, the parameters that have the most influence on the slope are the oil price, and the amount of production.
