Abstract :
Based on the results of research conducted in the field in class VIII3 of Siak Hulu State Middle School 2, Kampar District, Riau Province there are still many who have not yet reached KKM in football dribbling learning, therefore the learning process is carried out using the playing method. This research was motivated by a number of problems that researchers encountered in the field including the lack of football dribbling skills of class VIII3 Siak Hulu Middle School 2 students. There was no method of playing in the form of teaching given by teachers, inadequate facilities and infrastructure so that the learning process did not work effectively. There are still many students who are less active in the learning process, and the achievement of football KKM has not been achieved in students of class VIII3 of Siak Hulu Middle School 2, Kampar District, Riau Province. The purpose of this study is to find out whether through the playing method can improve the learning outcomes of dribbling skills in soccer games of students of SMP Negeri 2 Siak Hulu Kampar Regency, Riau Province, and is expected to be able to increase students' interest in learning so that the desired learning objectives can be achieved effectively. From the learning outcomes of two cycles that the researchers did in the field, the playing method proved to be able to increase football dribbling learning outcomes by 92% with 22 students completing 24 students, and only 8% who had not finished in the football dribbling learning process with 2 students.
