Abstract :
The problem in this study is the contribution of leg muscle and explosive power acceleration of the long jump ability of Penjaskesrek semester 3 students class of 2017/2018 Riau Islamic University. The purpose of this study was carried out to find out whether there is a contribution to the leg muscle explosive power and acceleration of the long jump ability of Penjaskesrek semester 3 students class of 2017/2018 Riau Islamic University. Sampling is a technique purposive sampling, totaling 10 people. The instrument used is Leg muscle explosive power tests, speed tests and long jump tests. Data analysis use product moment correlation and to look for donations each variable using the coefficient of determination formula. Based on research results conducted, it can be concluded that there is a contribution of explosive power leg muscles and acceleration to the long jump ability of students Penjaskesrek 3rd semester of 2017/2018 Islamic University of Riau. Where there is a contribution of 45%.
