Abstract :
The background of this research is the ability to shoot free throw extracurricular basketball in Riau Province Plus High School students who are still not good. the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of varied training on improving the ability to shoot free throw on basketball extracurricular students in SMA Negeri Plus Riau Province. The population of this research is 18 basketball extracurricular high school basketball students in Riau Province. Based on the results of calculations that have been done, researchers get the t value is 5.30. The value of t table at n = 18 or df = 17 at 5% error level is 2.11. The result of the comparison between the calculated t value and the t table value is the calculated t value> t table value or 5.30> 2.11. Based on the information above, the hypothesis proposed. The influence of variation training on the free throw shooting ability of extracurricular basketball students at SMA Negeri Plus Riau Province was accepted.
