Abstract :
This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and cheating behavior among students. The research population is students with 239 sample. The sampling technique was done by stratified random sampling (simple random sampling). The data collection method used a scale which is consisted of 20 items cheating behavior scale and 31 items self-esteem scale. Statistical analysis used in this research was Spearman Rho analysis, through the help of processing program data SPSS version 23.0 for Windows. Based on Spearman Rho analysis correlation method shown the result of coefficient correlation r -0.162 by p 0,012 (p<0,05). It can be concluded that there is no positive and significant relationship between self-esteem and cheating behavior among students. Thus means the higher of student cheating behavior indicates the lower of student selfesteem, otherwise the lower of student cheating behavior indicates the higher of student self-esteem.
