Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to improve the basic techniques of badminton long service in class XI students of SMAN 3 Tualang by using the drill method. The research was Classroom Action Research (CAR). In this study the subject of the research that is used is to ask students / class XI IPS2, amounting to 33 students consisting of 18 male students and 15 female students. Based on the results of data processing done in the first cycle there were 16 students who achieved the KKM value (48%) and there were 17 students who had not yet achieved the KMM score (51%). Then this research is continued by carrying out the second cycle and get the results of 32 students who achieved the KKM value (96%) and there are 1 students who have not achieved the KKM value (3%). Thus it can be concluded that there is an improvement in the basic technique of badminton long service by using the drill method in class XI students of SMA Negeri 3 Tualang.
