Abstract :
This study aims to determine the management of the library in improving services in the Kuantan Singi Regency library. The management research indicators used include planning, organizing, directing and monitoring. The method used is quantitative, namely interviews and by interacting with the place and object of research. This research can be categorized as a descriptive survey, which prioritizes the questionnaire list and the interview list as a means of collecting data and the data collected becomes the main raw material for analyzing the empirical conditions and the objectivity of the existence of the research objectives in the location under study. The technique used in this study is to use Cluster Sampling (Area Sampling) is a regional sampling technique used to determine the sample if the object to be studied or the source of data is extensive, for example production in a country, province or district. Types and data collection techniques used consisted of primary data collected by questionnaire techniques, interviews and documentation as well as secondary data collected using observation techniques. While the analysis technique used is to use frequency aids. This study aims to see to what extent the management of the Kuantan Singi district library in improving regional library services. Because the management is very important in assessing the success of the library service in managing the existing libraries in Kuantan Singi Regency. Based on this analysis technique, the researcher assesses and concludes that the library service management in improving the library services in Kuantan Singi Regency is in the quite good category.
