Abstract :
This research entitled Application of Bokashi with Beef Rumen and Organic NPK Fertilizer on Growth and Yield of Purple Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.). The research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture of the Islamic University of Riau, for 5 months from January to May 2020. The aim of the study was to determine the interaction effect and the main effect of giving bokashi content in cow rumen and giving organic NPK fertilizer to the growth and yield of purple eggplant. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) which consisted of 2 factors. The first factor was the bokashi content of the beef rumen which consisted of 4 treatment levels and the second factor was Organic NPK fertilizer which consisted of 4 treatment levels in order to obtain 16 treatment combinations. Where each treatment combination consisted of 4 plants, 2 of which were sampled so that all plants totaled 192 plants. If F count is greater than F table, then the BNJ further test is carried out at the 5% level. The main effect of the dose of bokashi with beef rumen content was significant for all parameters of the observation. The best treatment was the dose of bokashi with beef rumen contents 56.25 g / polybag. The main effect of real NPK Organic dosage on all observation parameters with the best treatment was the NPK Organic fertilizer dose of 75 g / polybag. The research that has been done can be concluded that: The interaction of giving bokashi content of cattle rumen and NPK Organic fertilizer is significant on plant height, flowering age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit, and number of residual fruits. The best treatment was dose of bokashi with beef rumen contents 56.25 g / polybag and 75 g / polybag organic NPK fertilizer.
