Abstract :
The research aims to determine the influence of palm oil and KCl in the growth and production of shallots. The design used is complete random design consisting of two factors namely factor (A) and factor (K) consists of 4 levels so that there are 16 combinations of treatment with 3 repeats, obtained 48 units of trial with a total of 192 plants. Each unit of trial consists of 4 plants and 2 are used as samples. The observed parameters: plant height, harvest age, number of bulbs per plant, wet weight of bulbs per plant, dry weight of tuber per plant, dry weight of bulbs per tuber, shrinkage of tuber weights and tuber grade. Data is analyzed statistically and followed by a test of the real difference of Truth (BNJ) at the level of 5%. The results of this research in the interaction of the combination of palm oil and KCL fertilizers affect all the parameters with the best combination of palm oil rungs 53 g/polybag and Fertilizer KCl 2.25 g/polybag. The main factor of oil palm rungs ash affects all parameters at a dose of 53 g/polybag. While the main factor of KCl fertilizer affects all parameters with the best dose of KCl 2.25 g/polybag except the parameter of the number of leaves, the number of bulbs per plant and the weight of the tuber with the best dose 1.5 g/polybag.
