Abstract :
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Team Game Tournament (TGT) berbantuan Roda Putar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMAS 1 Cawang Baru pada mata pelajaran fisika khususnya pada kelas XI IPA. Populasi penelitian yang digunkan yaitu seluruh siswa SMAS 1 Cawang Baru. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran Team Game Tournament (TGT) berbantuan roda putar sebanyak 30 siswa dan kelas kontrol menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional sebanyak 30 siswa, jumlah keseluruhan sampel yaitu 60 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dan instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi sebanyak 3 indikator berpikir kritis dan intrumen soal tes dengam 1 soal esai dan 4 soal pilihan ganda. Soal berdasrkan indikator berpikir kritis untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis siwa. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol maka dilakukan uji independent sample test yang dilakukan dengan soal per indikaror yaitu observasi dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil Exact sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,00 < 0,05 dengan demikian Ha diterima yaitu terdapat pengaruh Time Game Tournament (TGT) berbantuan roda putar yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMAS 1 Cawang Baru. Dengan demikian model Time Game Tournament (TGT) berbantuan roda putar berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa khususnya pada siswa kelas XI SMAS 1 Cawang Baru dengan materi rotasi dan kesetimbangan benda tegar./ This study aims to examine the effect of a Team Game Tournament (TGT) assisted by a Spinning Wheel on the critical thinking skills of SMAS 1 Cawang Baru students in physics subjects, especially in class XI science. The research population used was all students of SMAS 1 Cawang Baru. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class using the Team Game Tournament (TGT) learning model with the help of a rotating wheel as many as 30 students and the control class using the conventional learning model as many as 30 students, the total number of samples was 60 students. The method used is quasi-experimental and the instrument used is an observation sheet with 3 critical thinking indicators and a test instrument with 1 essay question and 4 multiple choice questions. Questions based on critical thinking indicators to determine students' critical thinking skills. To determine the effect of students' critical thinking skills in the experimental class and control class, an independent sample t-test was conducted with questions per indicator, namely observation and posttest. The results showed the results of Exact sig. (2-tailed) of 0.00 < 0.05, thus Ha is accepted, that is, there is a significant influence of Time Game Tournament (TGT) assisted by a rotating wheel on the critical thinking skills of SMAS 1 Cawang Baru students. Thus the Time Game Tournament (TGT) model with the help of a rotating wheel has an effect on improving students' critical thinking skills, especially in class XI SMAS 1 Cawang Baru with the material of rotation and rigid body equilibrium.
