Abstract :
Pekarangan rumah merupakan agroforestri yang berpotensi menunjang kehidupan masyarakat di Desa Onan Lama. Potensi pekarangan dapat dilihat dari segi pemanfaatan tumbuhan dan keanekaragaman tumbuhan pekarangan yang dibudidaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman tumbuhan pekarangan dan pemanfaatannya di Desa Onan Lama, Kecamatan Pegagan Hilir, Kabupaten Dairi, Sumatera Utara. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara dan survey atau observasi. Survey dilakukan di 32 Kepala Keluarga (KK) pemilik pekarangan di Desa Onan Lama. Hasil inventarisasi dan identifikasi tumbuhan di Desa Onan Lama diperoleh 178 spesies (154 genus dan 79 famili) yang dimanfaatkan masyarakat sebagai tumbuhan pangan, tumbuhan hias, buah, sayur, rempah, kayu dan manfaat lainnya. Indeks Keanekragaman Shannon Wiener (H?) Desa Onan Lama sebesar 3.489, indeks dominansi (C) sebesar 0.0191, dan Indeks nilai Penting (INP) tertinggi adalah Kopi Robusta (Coffea robusta L.) This study aims to determine the diversity of plants and the utilization of home gardens in the Village of Onan Lama, Pegagan Hilir Subdistrict, Dairi District, North Sumatra. Methods of data collection using interview and survey methods or observation. The survey was conducted on 32 households (KK) owners of home gardens in the village of Onan Lama. The results of the inventory and identification of plants in the village of Onan Lama obtained 178 species (154 genus and 79 families) used by the community as food crops, ornamental plants, fruits, vegetables, spices, wood and other benefits. The Shannon Wiener (H ') Onan Lama Diversity Index is 3.489, the dominance index (C) 0.0191, and the Highest important value index is Robusta Coffee (Coffea robusta L.)
