Level of Anxiety and Student?s Achievement in Speaking The title of this thesis was ?The Correlation Between Students? Level of Anxiety and Students Achievement in Speaking to The Fourth Semester Students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang?. The limitation of the problem was only focused on ?The Correlation Between Students? Level of Anxiety and Student?s Achievement in Speaking to The Fourth Semester Students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang in Academic Year 2019/2020.? The objective of this study was to analyze the correlation between student?s level of anxiety and student?s achivement in speaking to the fourth semester students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. The population of this study was all the Fourth Semester Students of English Education Study Program of Universitas Muhamadiyah Palembang. The sample of this study was 33 students taken by total sampling. The data were collected through two instruments. The first one was through a ready-made questionnaire. The second one was through documentation (the result of students? speaking score). The data were analyzed by Pearson ProductMoment Correlation. Based on the data analysis, the value of correlation between students? level of anxiety and students achievement in speaking (r-obtained) was 0.351 in two tailed testing at 0.05 of significant level of 33 samples (r-table=0.045). It meant that there was a significant correlation between students? level of anxiety and students? achievement in speaking.
