Marhadi S.K M.Si Kata Kunci Remiten TKI Chi Square Desa Kauman merupakan nama salah satu desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Kauman Kabupaten Ponorogo. Desa Kauman merupakan salah satu desa yang menyumbang TKI terbesar di Kabupaten Ponorogo. Rendahnya pendidikan dan kurangnya lapangan pekerjaan membuat masyarakat desa Kauman memilih bekerja sebagai TKI. Penelitian ini memiliki empat rumusan masalah yang akan dikaji diantaranya yaitu (1) Berapa besarnya remiten yang dikirim kepada keluarga oleh setiap Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (TKI) di Desa Kauman (2) Apakah lama bekerja berhubungan dengan besarnya remiten yang dikirim oleh TKI ke daerah asal Desa Kauman (3) Apakah jenis pekerjaan berhubungan dengan besarnya remiten yang dikirim oleh TKI ke daerah asal Desa Kauman (4) Apakah negara tujuan berhubungan dengan besarnya remiten yang dikirim oleh TKI ke daerah asal Desa Kauman. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Analisis data menggunakan bantuan software SPSS. Dalam menganalisis digunakan tekhnik analisis tabulasi tunggal tabulasi silang dan uji statistik chi square. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji statistik chi square di peroleh kesimpulan (1) lama bekerja TKI tidak meiliki hubungan dengan besarnya remiten yang dikirim. Semakin lama TKI bekerja di luar negeri justru tidak memiliki hubungan dengan besarnya remiten yang dikirim. (2) jenis pekerjaan TKI memiliki hubungan dengan besarnya remiten yang dikrim. Jenis pekerjaan yang berbeda di luar negeri akan mempengaruhi besrnya pendapatan Tenaga Kerja Indonesia. (3) negara tujuan meiliki hubungan dengan dengan besarnya remiten yang dikirim. Besarnya pendapatan TKI di pengaruhi berkembangnya dengara tujuan TKI tersebut semakin maju dan berkembang maka pendapatan TKI juga akan semakin besar. ABSTRACK Grasella Anando. 2017. Kauman Village is one of villages that contribute the biggest Indonesian Overseas Employer in Ponorogo Regency. The low education quality and lack of employment field makes Kauman villager choose to work as Indonesian overseas employer This research has four outline problems that will be explained they are (1) How much remittent which sent to family by every Indonesian Overseas Employer in Kauman Village (2) Does work duration have relation with how much remittent sent by Indonesian Overseas Employer to their home village (3) Does type of work have relation with how much remittent sent by Indonesian Overseas Employer to their home village (4) Does country destination have relation with how much remittent sent by Indonesian Overseas Employer to their home village This research used data analysis with the helping of SPSS software while for the analyze data used single tabulation technique cross tabulation and chi square statistic test. This research has been analyzed using chi square statistic test that gained conclusion (1) duration of work has no relation with how much remittent that sent by Indonesian overseas employer. The longer the Indonesian Overseas employer work in oversea has no relation with remittent sent by Indonesia Overseas employer instead. (2) Type of work of Indonesia Overseas Employer has relation with remittent sent by Indonesia Overseas Employer. (3) Country of destination has relation with remittent sent by Indonesia Overseas Employer. The scale of Indonesian Overseas Employer income effected by the developing of country destination. The more advance the country the higher of Indonesia Overseas Employer income.
