Abstract :
Stroke is brain damage due to reduced blood to the brain. Decreased blood flow to the brain can be caused by blockage of blood vessels in the brain. This is due to lifestyle changes. This research aims to determine the relationship between smoking habits, alcohol consumtion and of high-fat foods with the incidence of stroke in young adults. This uses an observational analytic research type with a cross sectional study approach. Sampling using quota sampling. This study aims to determine the relationship between lifestyle and the incidence pf stroke in young adults. The results of the study show that smoking habits and consumption of alcoholic beveranges affect the incidence of stroke in young adults. Whereas the consumption of high-fat foods has no effect on the incidence of stroke in young adults. So it is hoped, there is a need to educate the public regarding the dangers of smoking and consumption of alcoholic beverages.
