Abstract :
Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is one type of freshwater fish that has high economic value and is an important commodity in the world's freshwater fish business. Feed is one of the important components in fish farming activities. Fish growth will increase if the feed given can be digested properly by fish so that the energy obtained by fish from feed can be utilized optimally. This research aims to determine the effect of adding azolla flour with corn flour as raw materials for artificial feed and the best dose of azolla flour and corn flour on the growth of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). This research took place at the Aquaculture Laboratory of the Aquaculture Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo. using an experimental method with the experimental design used is a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments with 3 replications. The treatments applied were treatment A (control/without azolla flour), B (25% azolla flour), C (50% azolla flour), and treatment D (75% azolla flour). Fish growth measured was absolute weight, absolute length and survival. The results showed that the administration of azolla flour with corn flour as a raw material with a dose for each treatment did not give a significantly different effect.
