Abstract :
This study aims to determine the behavior of officials in public services in Lemito Village, Lemito District, Pohuwato Regency. To answer the problems in this study, several theories of behavior that have relevance are used. The research method uses a descriptive-qualitative type. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the aspects of responding to service recipients, maintaining good communication, taking responsibility, and acting for customers need to be running properly. Although the response of service recipients is good, various weaknesses are still found in other indicators. This results in the services provided by the apparatus being optimized. This study also found several supporting and inhibiting factors in public services. Supporting factors include good leadership, community involvement, and an effective monitoring system. However, there are also inhibiting factors, such as lack of resources, lack of motivation, and inadequate skills. Therefore, there is a need for improvement in these aspects. The discussion of the research results uses relevant theories and concepts as an analytical tool.
