Abstract :
Mothers who give birth accompanied by their husband tend to experience a smoother birth process. This shows that mental support has a positive impact on the mothe?s psychological state and also influence the smoothness of the birth process of the birth process. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between husband?s accompaniment and the anxiety level of postpartum mothers in the Maternity Room at RSIA Siti Kahadijah, Gorontalo City. The design uses analytics with a cross sectional approach, the population the are anumber of mother giving birth ini the Maternity Room of RSIA Siti Khadijah, Gorontalo City in November 2022 as many as 52 people, the sample used is 34 inpartu mothers who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and uses a chi-square statistics. The result showed the majority had a mild level of anxiety when they were accompanied by their husband?s during birth as many as 16 respondents (57,1%) and were not accomapained by their husbands during birth as many as 1 respondents (2,9%), the moderate level of anxiety was that the majority were accompanied by their husband during birth was 6 respondents (17,6%) and not accompanied by husband as many as 3 respondents (8,8%), and the total number of respondents who experienced severe anxiety about not being accompanied by their husband during birth was 8 respondents (23,5%). The result of the chi-square statistical test obtained a p-value of 0,000 (< 0,05). It can be concluded there isi relationship between husband?s assistance and the anxiety level of inpartum mothers in the Maternity Room at RSIA Siti Khadijah Gorontalo City.
