Abstract :
COVID-19 (Corona Virus Disease) is a virus that interferes with the body's immunity to cause death. The Covid-19 vaccine is given to strengthen the body's immunity against Covid-19 to avoid severe symptoms. This research was to determine the knowledge and behavior of the community towards the acceptance of the covid-19 vaccination. The research design used descriptive quantitative. Sampling using purposive sampling technique with 78 respondents. Data collection using a questionnaire sheet. The results of this study indicate that the average knowledge and behavior in the community is lacking knowledge and negative behavior, this is because there is a lot of understanding about Covid-19 from a negative side which has a bad influence on society, especially those who have not carried out this Covid-19 vaccination. In conclusion, people's knowledge and behavior is lacking due to exposure to negative information circulating on social media, while good knowledge and behavior results from the positive understanding that the community has regarding receiving the covid-19 vaccine.
