Abstract :
Stunting is a condition where a child experiences growth constraints caused by a lack of food intake in old age. Currently, stunting affects around 162 million children under the age of five. If this continues, it is estimated that there will be 127 million children under the age of five suffering from stunting in 2025. This research was conducted in the Limboto District Village, Gorontalo Regency. The aim of this research is to find out a health innovation program for handling stunting based on local wisdom. The design of this research is to use qualitative methods with a case study type approach. The number of participants was 5 people. The research results showed that innovation programs that are already running in the sub-district include foster parent or foster father programs and programs based on local wisdom, namely providing additional food such as green bean porridge, milk and eggs, not only providing additional food, there are other programs such as implementing posyandu and socialization. to society. The conclusion of this research is that there is an innovation program for handling stunting based on local wisdom in Limboto District, Gorontalo Regency.
