Abstract :
This research aim to determine the level of employee motivation at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Gorontalo Regency using qualitative research methods with a case study type. The results of the research show that the motivation of local employees in carrying out public services is quite good, this is measured by the motivation of public services employees at population and civil registration office of Gorontalo Regency, with sub-focuses (1) interest in making public policies (2) commitment to interests public (3) sense of empathy. And the determinant factors which are determine the motivation of public service employees at the Gorontalo district population and civil registration office with sub-focus, (1) intrinsic and extrinsic factors.
