Abstract :
Health applications are medical and public health practices supported by mobile devices. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and behavior of the community towards the use of health applications. This study used quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. The population was 554 people at the Limboto health center. The sample of this study was 85 health application users, with a purposive sampling type, and the research instrument was a questionnaire. The results obtained from 85 respondents showed that the level of knowledge in the good category was 64 respondents (73.6%), and the level of knowledge in the poor category was 21 (24.7%). The level of community behavior of most respondents in this study was the level of behavior in the good category, with as many as 76 respondents (87 4%). The level of poor behavior was nine respondents (10 3%) and those who utilize health applications, as many as 70 people (17.6%) and fewer utilize as many as 15 people. The statistical test results used are chi-square. There is a p-value of 0.004, lower than the predetermined significance level of 0.005, Conclusion The higher the level of public knowledge about the benefits, features, and how to use health apps, the more likely they will use them effectively The suggestion of this study is to educate health center staff and the community regarding the use of health applications
