Abstract :
Burns are the most common injury in humans compared to other injuries. Burns can result from contact with heat or very low temperatures, chemicals, electricity, radiation, and ultraviolet. This study aims to determine the effect of burn first aid training on the knowledge of health cadres in Mongolato village, Telaga district, Gorontalo. This research method used a quantitative approach with a research quasi-experiment or pseudo-experiment with one group pre-test-post-test design. The sample was taken using the total sampling technique. The sample size was 23 respondents. Data collection used questionnaire sheets and data analysis using a Paired T-test with meaning (p-value = 0.05). The results showed a difference in the average value between knowledge before 52.70 and knowledge after 74.70; there was an increase of 22.00 knowledge values before and after treatment, and the statistical value obtained p-value = 0.00 is smaller than 0.05 (p <0.05).
