Abstract :
Flood Disaster Mitigation Mitigation is a series of efforts to reduce the risk of flood disasters, both through physical development and awareness and improvement in facing the threat of flood disasters. This study aims to determine the effect of flood disaster mitigation training on the knowledge of PMR students in senior high schools in the Dungaliyo sub-district. This research used a quantitative method with two groups pre-test - post-test design. The sample was taken using a non- probability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. The number of samples was 40 respondents. Data collection used a questionnaire sheet, and data analysis used a Paired T-test with meaning (p=0.05). The study results showed that the knowledge of PMR students at SMAN 1 Dungaliyo before the training was 50.00, and after the training, it was 81.45. The knowledge of PMR students at SMKN 1 Dungaliyo before the training was 48.50, and after the training was 76.25. It shows an average difference between knowledge before and after training, and the statistical value obtained p = 0.00 is smaller than 0.05 (p < 0.05). In conclusion, there is an effect of flood disaster mitigation training on the knowledge of PMR students in high schools in the Dungaliyo sub-district.
