Abstract :
The aim of research was to improve student learning outcomes by using the Index Card Match learning model in social studies class 5.3 at MI Muhammadiyah Unggulan, Gorontalo City. This type of research is classroom action research. In the initial observation, 10 students or 36% completed and 18 students did not complete or (64%). After the action in cycle I increased to 16 students who completed or 57%, who had not completed 12 or 43%. Implementation of the completed cycle II increased by 25 students who completed or 89%, who had not completed 3 students or 11%. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded, through the Index Card Match learning model it can improve student learning outcomes in social studies in class 5.3 MI Muhammadiyah Unggulan, Gorontalo City.
