Abstract :
The Botu Kapali River is a newly inaugurated tourist attraction in Gorontalo Regency. This natural tourist attraction is located in Bihe village, Asparaga District, Gorontalo Regency. The Botu Kapali River tourist attraction offers pristine natural scenery. Visitors can enjoy a 500-meter river tubing activity along the river. This research aims to explore the development of the Botu Kapali River tourist attraction as a natural attraction in Gorontalo Regency. The research method employed was qualitative descriptive using SWOT analysis techniques. The research results indicated that the development of the Botu Kapali River tourist attraction falls into quadrant III, which represents a stability strategy or WO strategy (Weakness, Opportunity). The implementation of the WO strategy includes utilizing the internet as a medium for providing information about the Botu Kapali River tourist attraction and collaborating with the Gorontalo Regency government (Tourism Office and Public Works Department) to develop human resources and infrastructure at the Botu Kapali River tourist attraction.
