Abstract :
Beach tourism is a type of tourism associated with visits to coastal areas, which prioritizes the natural beauty of the coast and activities around the beach. Activities generally associated with beach tourism are swimming, snorkeling, diving, and enjoying beautiful beach scenery. In eastern Indonesia, especially in Gorontalo Province, there are various interesting tourist destinations such as natural beauty, lakes, religious places, and marine charm. One of the beach tourism is Karang Putih Beach in Batudaa Pantai. This study aims to determine the Development Strategy of White Coral Beach Tourism in Batudaa Pantai. This research method is Descriptive Qualitative using the SWOT analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the Karang Putih Beach tourism development strategy is the S-T strategy or diversification found in quadrant II, which is to take advantage of all strengths to avoid threats. The S-T strategy that can be implemented regarding the tourist attraction of Karang Putih Beach in Gorontalo Regency is the need to improve the road to white coral tourism, build adequate facilities to increase the competitiveness of Karang Putih Beach tourism and optimize the underwater potential at Karang Putih Beach to attract more tourists.
