Abstract :
Alternative tourism is a thematic form of tourism that primarily focuses on the utilization of natural potential, uniqueness, and local characteristics in a particular region. Alternative tourism represents a shift in the tourism trend from mass tourism towards alternative tourism experiences. The aim of this study was to understand the Development Strategy of Bohulo Camp and Eat as an Alternative Tourism in Gorontalo Regency. The research method employed was qualitative descriptive using SWOT analysis. The research findings reveal that the strategy for the development of Bohulo Camp and Eat as an alternative tourism in Gorontalo Regency falls within the stability strategy or the WO strategy located in quadrant III. This strategy involves minimizing internal weaknesses while capitalizing on external opportunities. The implementation of this strategy for the development of Bohulo Camp And Eat includes the need to improve access to the tourist attraction, utilizing the extensive land for additional tourist attractions, establishing collaboration with the Gorontalo Regency government, especially the tourism department, making use of Glamping facilities as a unique tourist attraction in Gorontalo Regency, and offering promotional pricing or discounts.
