Abstract :
The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes through a problem based learning model for class V students at SDN 3 Kwandang, North Gorontalo Regency. The method uses the Classroom Action Research method which is carried out in 2 cycles. Data collection techniques include observing teacher activities, student activities, knowledge tests to measure student learning outcomes, and documentation. The results were in cycle I, meeting I, 9 students completed (64%), meeting II, 10 students (71%), meeting II, cycle II, completed 11 people (79%), while in During the implementation of the second cycle II meeting, students who completed the program increased by 13 people (93%) with a KKM ? 75. During the implementation of the action, there was an increase of 22%. By using the problem based learning model, learning outcomes for class V students at SDN 3 Kwandang, North Gorontalo Regency increased.
