Abstract :
Gastronomic Tourism is an experience in terms of eating, meaning that tourists not only enjoy eating, but tourists also get education regarding eating and can directly make the food, therefore there are still many tourists or people in Gorontalo who don't know about Gastronomic Tourism. Gorontalo has potential regarding culinary tourism because Gorontalo has several traditional specialties that are still strong in their culture. The people of Gorontalo only know about culinary tourism, not gastronomic tourism. This research aims to determine the potential of Ilabulo traditional food as a gastronomic tourism in Gorontalo city. This research was conducted from May to June 2023 on Pangeran Diponegoro street, Limba B, Kota Selatan. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. The results of this research show that Ilabulo has the potential to be used as a Gastronomic Tourism because Ilabulo is a traditional Gorontalo food which is still strong in its culture and also Ilabulo has met the criteria for becoming a Gastronomic Tourism.
