Abstract :
This research aims to analyze students' learning motivation in thematic learning at SD Muhammadiyah 2 Limoto, Gorontalo Regency. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques including observation, interviews and documentation. This research uses deductive data analysis, starting from data collection, data analysis, presentation and drawing conclusions. From the results obtained by the researchers namely: 1. Students' preparation for facing lessons in class can be seen from students in preparing writing equipment, preparing themselves, and preparing mentally is still lacking. 2. Students have not been diligent in receiving lessons because students have not paid attention to educators, are not enthusiastic, and students' seriousness in learning is still lacking. 3. The students' ability to manage their study time at home is still not good, because judging from the students' courage, the researchers found that the students did not have the courage, were not focused and were not diligent. 4. The participants' desire to carry out a difficult task or job is still lacking, because students do not have the desire to carry out the task, get good equipment, and do not ask difficult questions. Researchers suggest that students must prepare themselves more optimally in order to achieve good learning motivation.
