Abstract :
Patient safety is a top priority that must be programmed by hospitals with the aim of protecting patients to stay safe. The purpose of the research was to describe the culture of nurses in carrying out health services for patient safety. The research design used descriptive quantitative. The population of research were nurses at RSIA Sitti Khadijah, namely 30 respondents. The research sampling used simple random sampling and the data is collected using a questionnaire. The results showed that the accuracy of patient identification reached 30 respondents. The reduction in the risk of infection was achieved by (73.3%), and not achieved by (26.7%). The reduction in fall risk was achieved by (83.3%), and not achieved by 5 respondents (16.7%). It can be concluded that the accuracy of patient identification, reduction of risk of infection, and reduction of risk of falls must be carried out optimally by all nurses, so as to minimize unexpected events.
