Abstract :
The aim of this research is to describe the role of the principal in enforcing disci-pline among school residents at SDN 3 Asparaga. The method used is qualitative descriptive. The results obtained from this research are that the role of the Princi-pal in upholding discipline among the school community at SDN 3 Asparaga is (1) The principal acts as an innovator, he sets a good example for his subordinates, especially in attendance and coming to school on time. (2) The school principal acts as an administrator, who is related to various administrative management activities in the nature of recording, compiling and documenting all school docu-ments and/or archives. (3) The school principal acts as a leader or leader. He guides, develops, encourages and directs all parties involved in achieving school goals. (4) The principal acts as a supervisor, namely by carrying out supervision and control to improve the discipline of the residents of SDN 3 Asparaga
