Abstract :
Basic Health Research data (2021) shows that only 52.5% of infants under six months of age are exclusively breastfed in Indonesia. A previous preliminary study was conducted in the postpartum room of Dr. M.M Dunda Limboto Hospital from 10 postpartum mothers who were interviewed, only three people gave breast milk to their babies, and seven people preferred to give formula milk because there was no milk coming out. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of a breastfeeding package (lactation education and oxytocin massage) in increasing breast milk production. This study used an Quasi Eksperiment design with One Group Pretest Posttest Design method. The population in this study amounted to 148, with a sample size of 37 postpartum mothers determined based on purposive sampling techniques. Data collection using the breast milk production observation sheet and data analysis using the Wilcoxon test obtained a P value of 0.000 (?<0.05), so it can be concluded that the breast milk package (lactation education and oxytocin massage) is effective in increasing breast milk production of postpartum women at Dr. M.M Dunda Limboto Hospital.
