Abstract :
Rapid developments of science and technology, supported by qualifled and adequate human resources, is expected to created to create and information system that can help the school administration, in this case, the employee?s payroll system. The recearcherfound that Payroll System at SMK Negeri 1 Suwawa Is still conventional, they usually record in the payroll card and then summarized it in the book manually. This take long process with great possibility of error, and affected it?s accessibility if needed at any time presented. This research will offer and information system using Visual Basic 6,0 the database using Microsoft Acces 2007, and the procces using waterfall method. As any system usually and vantages, so are this system. The disadvantage that the system has not been able to stand alone, while the advantageis the system can facilitate data input to simplify the payrol procces.
