Abstract :
Application of Caring for the Environment Behavior towards the Development of Moral Values in Grades V & VI Students at SD Muhammadiyah 3 Dehuwalolo Village, Limboto District, Gorontalo Regency. Supervisor I Hj. SAIDA GANI and Supervisor II Hj. IRMAWATI ISHAK DUKO. This research aims to find out how to apply caring for the environment behavior to the development of moral values in grades V & VI at SD Muhammadiyah 3 Limboto. This research uses a qualitative method. The location of research at SD Muhammadiyah 3, Dehuwalolo Village, Limboto District, Gorontalo Regency. Data collection tools used observation, interviews and documentation. To check the validity of the data in order to prove the suitability of the researcher's data with the reality in the field, the researcher used triangulation. The results showed the application of caring for the environment behavior towards the development of moral values in students of grades V & VI at SD Muhammadiyah 3 Limboto was carried out well by the homeroom teacher for grades V & VI, and the students themselves. The way the teacher applies an attitude of caring for the environment to students is that the teacher gives examples such as throwing trash in its places, cleaning the yard and classrooms. The teacher gave a reword for students, and a cleanliness contest between classes. Based on the results, it can be concluded the environmental care behavior of class V & VI is good. Researchers hope that students can maintain this behavior, and teachers can set an example. Keywords: Caring For the Environment, Moral Values.
