Abstract :
Hypothermia is a condition where the body loses heat quickly. The first treatment for hypothermia is to replace wet clothes with dry ones. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the first treatment of hypothermia in the Mohuyula nature lover student activity unit, Muhammadiyah University, Gorontalo. The research method is quantitative with a descriptive analytical research design that is cross sectional in nature. Sampling used a total sampling technique with a total of 30 respondents. The results of the Chi-Square test are pvalue = 0.000 or <0.05, which means there is a significant relationship between knowledge and handling hypothermia in the Mohuyula nature lover student activity unit at the Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo. Hypothermia knowledge of nature-loving students is in the good category with 12 respondents (40%), the sufficient category with 12 respondents (40%), and the poor category with 6 respondents (20%). Handling of Hypothermia for students who love nature is in the good category with 18 respondents (60%) and the poor category with 12 respondents (40%).
