Abstract :
The condition of pregnant women with CED can be said to be an indirect reason for maternal death, this is related to decreased muscle function that helps in the birthing process, prolonged labor, postpartum bleeding and anemia. This study aims to determine the comparison of giving mung beans and yellow pumpkin to pregnant women with KEK. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a two-group pre-post test design, the number of samples used was 15 pregnant women with a sample size of 14 which was divided into 7 people who were given boiled mung beans and 7 people who were given yellow pumpkin. The results showed that before and after giving boiled mung beans, it was 0.066<0.05, which means there was no significant increase in nutritional status (LILA) with boiled mung beans, in the yellow pumpkin group before and after giving it, it was 0.011<0.05, which means there was a significant increase in nutritional status (LILA) with the provision of yellow pumpkin. The conclusion is that there is a difference or comparison between the provision of mung beans and yellow pumpkin on the nutritional status of KEK pregnant women at the Mootilango Health Center. Advice for pregnant women who experience CED is to consume mung beans and yellow pumpkin every day, for the Community Health Center to use or apply it to reduce and treat pregnant women who experience CED.
