Abstract :
This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of class II students of Imam Syafii Private Elementary School, Gorontalo Regency. The method used in this study is classroom action research with the research subjects being 19 class II students. This research was conducted in 4 forms consisting of the planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage, and reflection stage. This study shows that the learning outcomes of students in Civics subjects are still relatively low. This is indicated by the low learning outcomes of students in the initial observation with a percentage level of 21% of 19 students. Therefore, the researcher took action by using audio visual media on the material of rules in everyday life. From the results of the research conducted on student learning outcomes, there was an increase of 26% in cycle I meeting I, cycle meeting I 37%, and cycle I meeting III 47%. While in cycle Il meeting I student learning outcomes increased by 58%, in cycle II meeting II increased by 68%, and in cycle II meeting III increased by 84%. Based on the results of the research conducted in cycle I and cycle II using audio-visual media on the material of rules In everyday life in the subject of PKN, it can improve student learning outcomes in class II of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Imam Syafii.
