Abstract :
Self-efficacy, which refers to an individual's belief in their ability to achieve goals,is known to have a significant impact on the level of student engagement. On theother hand, social support obtained by students from the surrounding environment,such as family, peers, and teachers, also plays an important role in strengtheningtheir self-confidence. This social support creates a sense of security and comfortthat motivates students to be more involved in academic and social activities. Thepurpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-efficacy andsocial support with student engagement at SMA Negeri 2 Limboto. Quantitativeresearch design. The population was 962 students with a sample of 275 students.The results showed that most students had moderate efficacy, namely 214respondents (77.8%). As for social support, most respondents have moderatesocial support, namely 185 respondents (67.3%), while in the involvement variable,most have involvement in the moderate category, namely 221 respondents(80.4%). The conclusion is that there is a simultaneous relationship between thevariables of efficacy and social support on student involvement at SMA Negeri 2Limboto based on multiple regression statistical tests obtained a sig value of 0.000<0.05 and a calculated f value of 141.199> f table 3.029. It is hoped that the resultsof this study can be used as a source of information for psychology in overcomingthe lack of student involvement by increasing self-efficacy and social suppor
