Abstract :
Drowning is an event where all or part of the body is submerged in water. In general, drowning is said to be an accident, either directly or due to several factors, such as the victim being intoxicated or influenced by drugs. The general objective of the study was to determine the level of knowledge of swimming pool supervisors about first aid for drowning victims in bathing pools in Gorontalo City. The research used a total sampling technique, conducted using a quantitative approach with a descriptive design with a sample size of 34 respondents in 4 different bathing pools. The results showed good knowledge amounted to (52.9%) and less knowledge amounted to (47.1%). It was concluded that the level of knowledge of pool supervisors about first aid for drowning victims in Gorontalo city bathing pools was in a suitable category.
