Abstract :
Self-efficacy of mothers in preventing diarrhea in toddlers plays an important role because mothers can maintain health, provide healthy food for toddlers and sometimes work to supplement family income which can improve the degree of health of toddlers. The purpose of this study was to identify the level of maternal self-efficacy from the aspects of level, generality and strength in efforts to prevent diarrhea in toddlers at the Bongo 2 Health Center, Wonosari District. Descriptive research design using the survey method, the sample in this study was 43 respondents using the total sampling sample technique that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results of the study obtained that the level of maternal selfefficacy from the aspect of level in diarrhea prevention in toddlers in the low category (58.1%), the generality aspect in diarrhea prevention in moderate category toddlers (55.8%), the strength aspect in diarrhea prevention in moderate category toddlers (74.4%) and maternal self-efficacy in diarrhea prevention in toddlers at the Bongo 2 Health Center Wonosari District in the moderate category (58.1%). It can be concluded that maternal self-efficacy is quite good in preventing diarrhea in toddlers at the Bongo 2 Health Center, Wonosari District.
