Abstract :
This research aims to analyze the factors causing the lack of motivation of students in school. The type of research used is a type of phenomenology and qualitative data analysis. The results of research are the main factor, namely there are still certain subjects that are not liked by students. The second factor is the lack of an educator's approach to students which causes them to be lazy to go to school. The third factor is the lack of enthusiasm of educators in teaching when they enter the last hour of school, this is still considered normal by educators but has a huge impact on students because they become accustomed not to study and become lazy to go to school. The fourth factor is the teaching method which is still monotonous so that students become less enthusiastic about learning. And the fifth factor is the noisy classroom atmosphere which is the main trigger for the learning process to become inactive and learning is not optimal.
