Abstract :
The impact of gadgets on children is that children become individualists. In addition, scenes of violence that children see in games and films and pornography have a negative effect on both the behavior and abilities of the child. The research objective was to determine the effect of gadget hazards on students' social interactions. Cross sectional research design with chi square test. Total population of 107 students with a total sample of 38 students. The results showed that there were 15 students experiencing the dangers of high-impact gadgets with enough social interaction as many as 9 students, the results of the chi square analysis showed a value of p = 0.000 <0.05, the results of stg atistical tests showed that gadgets had a harmful effect on social interactions in students who is at SDN 12 Bongomeme. Suggestions are expected that parents pay more attention to children in using gadgets to reduce the risk of addiction in children and the school helps parents in providing supervision over the use of gadgets to children by imposing sanctions if children are found carrying gadgets at school
