Abstract :
Choking is a complete or partial airway blockage due to a foreign object, causing the victim to have difficulty breathing and lack oxygen. It can even cause immediate death. The research general objective was to determine KSR students? knowledge about first aid for choking patients at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. This research method was conducted with a quantitative approach with a descriptive design with a sample size of 41 respondents using a total sampling technique. The results showed good knowledge amounted to 37 respondents (90.2%) and less known as many as four respondents (9.8%). It was concluded that the level of knowledge of Suka Rela Corps students about first aid for choking patients at Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo was in a suitable category.
