Abstract :
Clean and healthy life behavior in schools is an effort to empower students, teachers and the school environment to know and be able to practice clean and healthy life behavior in realizing a healthy school. The objective of research was to determine and identify a description of clean and healthy life behavior in SD Muhammadiyah 1 Limboto. The research design used quantitative with a descriptive approach. The number of samples was 60 people consisting of students in grades 1-6 elementary school. Cluster sampling sampling technique. The results showed the picture of clean and healthy living behavior in SD Muhammadiyah 1 Limboto was sufficient, where the behavior of clean and healthy in indicators of washing hands with running water and using soap was in sufficient category (46.7%), consuming healthy food And nutritious is in sufficient category (55.0%), the use of healthy latrines is in the good category (63.3%), doing physical activity every day in the category of sufficient (45.0%), eradicating mosquito larvae is in the less category (50.0%), not smoking in schools is in the good category (100%), weighting body weight and measuring height is in the less category (46.7%).
