Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to improve the ability to write descriptive essays through the Concept Sentence Learning Model in Class IV students at SDN 3 East Suwawa, Bone Bolango Regency. This research method uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is carried out in 2 cycles. Data collection techniques were in the form of observing educator activities, student activities, learning ability tests, and documentation. The results in the first cycle of the first meeting of students who completed 10 people (43%), the second meeting of students who completed 14 people (61%), the third meeting of students who completed 17 people (74%) while in the implementation of the first cycle II students who complete increased by 21 people (91%) with KKM ? 75. In the implementation of the action there was an increase of 17%. Using the Concept Sentence learning model can improve the ability to write essay descriptions in Class IV students at SDN 3 East Suwawa, Bone Bolango Regency.
